<p><b>Boston, Ma. – (February 11 2008) – </b>BPG Properties, Ltd. (BPG), one of the nation’s leading private equity real estate fund managers, announced the appointment of Michael Rota as asset manager in the firm’s Boston Regional Office.</p> <p>“Michael is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in managing and operating commercial real estate,” said George Haines, vice president of BPG who is in charge of the firm’s Boston Regional Office. “We are pleased to have him on board and look forward to leveraging his experience throughout the portfolio.”</p> <p>Mr. Rota will be responsible for managing the redevelopment and leasing of BPG’s Boston area portfolio and will work closely with BPG Management Company, L.P., BPG’s property management arm, in Boston along with the firm’s acquisition team.</p> <p>Prior to joining BPG, Mr. Rota was a general manager for Lincoln Property Company, where he was responsible for coordinating all management services and assisting the leasing team with 1.8 million square feet of property. Prior to joining Lincoln, Mr. Rota worked for Cushman and Wakefield as general manager at the Arsenal on the Charles in Watertown, MA, a 750,000 square foot redevelopment of a former Army base where he was responsible for integrating property management services with leasing, construction and development throughout the 37 acre site.
